Does the climate have anything to do with why the best music in the world comes out of Ireland? Are you a fan of The Saw Doctors, Ireland's best rock band (sorry U2)? Your comment reminds me of The Saw Doctors' song "Will It Ever Stop Raining?" from the "Songs From Sun Street" album. It's about having all the beach gear and the time off to enjoy the sun, sand and waves, but the weather just won't cooperate. I've got to get back to Ireland soon. When I went in July, 1999 it was sunny for almost a straight week. I even got burned on the Aran Islands. But I did get drenched the morning I left Donegal, near end of my trip.
