There's a crucial difference between these two systems that I feel you are missing.

1. An Amway System's primary goal is to train IBOs to sell more of its products, Artistry, Nutrilite, etc.
2. An AMO System's goal is to train IBOs to buy more of its products, tapes, CDs, books, and function tickets.

Ask yourself this question. If you only had $25 left at the end of the month, would you:

a) Buy a CD/Book/Meeting Ticket
b) Buy a box of XXX (insert named Amway coreline product here) and sell it for $35?

What option would an Amway System or AMO System encourage you to do?

The goal of the organization that I am with is to provide training and motivation on growing a NETWORK of IBO's versus learning to sell products. You are putting words in the organizations mouth.
All it takes for the forces of evil to rule this world is for enough good people to do nothing.

On a couple of the blogs, including Amthrax's, the "critics" are having a field day claiming "Yes, I'm contracted with Amway" constitutes lying and deceiving people and hiding the Amway name if you also mention you work with a support system.

Amway IBO: Yes, I'm an American, I'm from Ohio
Amway Critic: So, you deny you're American then! Liar!

Seems more than one thought at a time is too hard for some to cope with ..... :rolleyes:

I am CONTRACTED with Amway;
I have a CONTRACT with Amway;
I am an independent CONTRACTOR with Amway (receiving a 1099 as a Sole Proprietor) .

Double roll of the eyes :rolleyes: :rolleyes:

Blogs, including Amthrax's which sadly (not!) miss my presence as of the new year, for the reason's I stated on a different thread the the first day of 2009 here... Why Not To Visit Amway Critics' Sites

The more you think, the less you do.
The more you do, the more you do.

Do more, think less.

Just do it!

I enjoy reading critics, more now than ever. It gives me such a laugh. Maybe three years ago when all the TEAM crap was going on I'd be concerned about what was going on system wide. But even within the past year Amway has made so many changes that it makes the claims even less legitimate.

And of course, with due respect to our fellow ex-amway distributor Amthrax, get with the times dude. You're railing about the corporation not having a training system? Dude.... I will admit that many business support groups aren't going to mention this to new people, however this is available under the Manage My Business tab, so people are going to find it very easily. I wouldn't be surprised if Amway will be including information about the center in new IBO info packs too.

Ugh. Come on. Get with the times....

Not only that but your criticizing behavior that is required for social networking. You have to network with people. You have to have meetings, you need to encourage and teach your people and train them to do what your doing. Of course it's all optional, but so is going to work!So why don't you go out and do something with what you've got in your hands and prove everyone else that you don't need anyone else's help to go Crown Ambassador. While you're doing that, World Wide Dream Builders is going to great at least TEN diamonds this year. They already broke one Crown last year. In the past 25 years they've been around, they've helped break 35 diamonds.

And since you know so much about how structured teaching and support systems work, go Crown Ambassador without one. Come on. Do it! Cause you can! But remember, don't create a system to teach to your downline. Nothing. Just frontline teaching. Do it. Come on. It could work. At least it would force you to go 100 wide because you'd want to feel like you have a lot of people in your group because you want your meetings to be... oh wait, shoot. We can't have group meetings in hotels because then that would be a system and you'd be charging admission... hmmm... how are we gonna work this? YOU CAN'T!

Get your head out of the dirt, look around and see the changes!

Prospect: Is this Amway?

Absolutely! Amway Global is the contracting corporation. You've probably seen some of the latest advertising we've put together. Spending over half a billion dollars in a National Ad/Image campaign with multiple sponsorships/partnerships. Its incredible.

Prospect: Yeah, but isn't it JUST Amway?

I understand where you're coming from, but don't confuse your daddy's rinky-dink, door-to-door, soap selling, MLM deal with where this business is today. People need to step out of their time capsule and into the year 2009 and get up to speed. This business model is so streamlined and on the forefront of whats going on the the market place right now its crazy. You have a mulitbillion dollar, debt-free, privately held company that just announced a 15% global increase in 2008, when so many other companies/industries are struggling. Need I say more.

People need to get rid of their stinkin' thinkin', ditch the old school stigmas and start thinking for themselves!
